I apprecaite your info. But I think you should change your
terms of communication. The Words are not appropriate to
the office of a Pastor. Example Point #6 & #10
Thanks

Yea people are often weird. My educated opinion is that, like me, their priorities and values change constantly. Especially "20 somethings." Whatever new sensation tickles their fancy for the week will be the their delight. Experts say delight is followed by value and then priority. :) Try planting a church in that soil. lol.

Dan,

When you remember that you are just a planter and not the weatherman nor the sun or the rain, that helps. When you work in Canada, do you have a shorter growing season than you would in, say, California? :)

Grateful am I that God has not called me to be a planter in a formal sense, but it is a part of all our calling - indeed, our command - to make disciples, and that part of the job I love. The formalized planning and programming and structured stuff - I see most of that as killing off the seeds on an every Sunday timed basis, sadly. Your mileage may vary...

Great and very, very "frank" remarks. I am a church planter and it looks like my plant will not make it (planted 2yrs ago).
But I love God, always will and am willing to move on.
